President Gerry Schmidt called the meeting to order at 6:49 pm. Those present were; Gerry Schmidt, Tom Tomlinson, Glen Burgess, J.W. Irvin, Richard Liss, and Mike Tschida.
The minutes of the April meeting were approved. Tom Tomlinson gave the Secretary’s report, we now have 101 paid members. (Note several more applications have been received.)
Gerry noted that the next dinner meeting would be June 5 at Red Lobster.
No financial report was given in the absence of the Treasurer’s incapacity. Gerry Schmidt was to ask Larry to fill in for a while if Dave needed help until he recovers.
A night still needs to be set for the drive in theatre. It was suggested that we simply pick a date and see what the movie is and then announce it and those who can and want to go can.
Gerry Schmidt and Paul Minor handled the presentation of the $1000 check to Brightstone on May 22.
Doug Colburn is working to flesh out the remaining activities for 2008. We are still trying to get more info on the Relay for life car display at BCA.
Glen Burgess reported on the Garage Tour which is all set for May 31 and on the display at Morningside set for June 14 2 to 4 pm. Tom will put out an email about the Morningside display and a reminder about the Garage Tour.
J.W. Irvin will fill in for Richard Liss during his knee surgery.
